HAPPY NEW YEAR! How are those resolutions coming?
I know resolutions aren’t for everyone, but they’re for me :-) I started my “1 Hour of Change or Jan 1” What is 1 Hour of Change? It’s six tasks, ten minutes every day, for a total of one hour.
Some call them micro habits, I don’t have a name for it.
Here are the 6 micro Habits that i’ve been able to commit to about 75% of the month:
Prayer for 10 minutes
Reading for 10 minutes
Stretching for 10 minutes
Journaling for 10 minutes
Social Media Planning for 10 minutes
I’ve found the journaling to be the most difficult, mostly because I tried to journal first thing in the morning and would run out of things to say.
Now, I’ve switched to the evening to give myself a fighitng chance of ten minutes worth of writing.
Stretching has been incredibly beneficial and I can definitely notice when I forget or simply don’t feel like stretching in the mornings.
I’m working on my hour of change for February, what are your ideas?
